He is a Muggleborn wizard who served time in the US Army, because that's what every male in his family did. However, he ended up with PTSD after a particularly difficult trip to Iraq. He is living in England, because he serves as a liaison between the US and British militaries and the Ministry of Magic. He is gay, he likes to have fun and laugh, and he is very loyal to his country. However, he has his monsters. And he doesn't care for magic much, since he was raised as a Muggle and never found use for magic in the army.
