[Video Game] The Sims
« on: October 23, 2016, 08:47:12 PM »
The Sims has been arguably the most popular casual game... like... ever. I knew what the Sims was and vaguely how it worked without really even playing it. I bought my first Sims game in a Steam Sale last Christmas (The Sims 3) and I go on binges. It's kind of relaxing in a very odd way. I haven't put any mods, add ons, or additional DLCs on it though, and I doubt I will unless I somehow win the lottery in the next coming years.

But since I'm a bit of a noob, I just wanted to hear everyone's Sims stories and experiences.

My ma bought me The Sims 3 for Christmas one year awhile back because my then-husband told her I wanted it, lol. What I really wanted was Sims City or Sims Tower. Even Sims Farm would have been all right.

I care more about designing and upgrading a town or little shops than individual people in these kinds of games. Sims Tower is fairly old, but I loved playing it way back when. My middle school school had it on the computers in the computer lab and I thought it was the best thing ever.

Then for awhile Sim City was on Facebook, and I was totally addicted to that. I heard it got removed because a real version was going to be released for PC, but I don't know any details about that.

Is anyone else getting tired of playing Sims 4 at this point? We need Sims 5!
